Claudiu’s Artist Bio:

Claudiu is mostly a self-taught artist who was born and raised in Europe. He currently lives in North Carolina. Growing up he received art tips and encouragement from his uncle who was a well-known artist around his city. Since the passing of his uncle, Claudiu continues to create Art with thoughts of his uncle’s great talent in mind. Claudiu works mainly in pencil and colored pencil and occasionally branching out with some paintings. His favorite subject matter is Animals and People, as he has been commissioned to do quite a few Pets and People Portraits locally.

Melanie’s Artist Bio:

Melanie is more of the trained artist who had a tendency to stand out a bit in school with her ability to capture the still life, person, or landscape’s characteristics in a realistic manner. She manages to detail her work just enough to capture the personality and character of whatever she draws. Melanie works mostly in Pencil, Scratch Art and occasionally tests other Art Media like Collage, and Altered Art. Melanie is an Art Teacher to K-5 students in an Elementary School. Her goal with all of her students is for them to see the World around them as Art and they also can be Artists. Her students have created a multitude of ATC cards and are hooked!!! Melanie has a BA in Graphic Arts and took many studio art courses in college, as well as, holds an Art Education K-12 Teaching License.
